The application forms for admission to BA and MA in Journalism will be available from December 8, 2017, onwards till April 12.The Christ University Journalism 2018 application forms will be available both online and offline. However, candidates who have purchased the offline application form must fill the same online and send specified documents along with a copy of Christ University Journalism application form 2018 to the University office by April 14. Candidates who have successfully registered and submitted the documents will be able to download their Christ University Journalism admit card; which will be available from April 16, 2018. Once the Christ University 2018 entrance exam is conducted and selection process are completed, Christ University Journalism 2018 result will be announced on April 28. The Christ University Journalism entrance exam conducted for admissions to the UG programmes like BA JP Eng-Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Journalism, Psychology, English, Bachelors of Honours in Journalism and BA CEP-Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication and Media, English and Psychology along with one PG programme which is Master of Arts (MA) in Media and Communication Studies. Christ University Journalism Eligibility Criteria 2018 – For BA CEP and BA JP Eng-Programmes

 

According to the eligibility criteria of Christ University Journalism, candidates must have passed senior secondary from a recognized board. Students must have a passed senior secondary certificate from Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards from streams like Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, and Sciences. Aspiring students who have studied from an International curriculum must have AIU approval with a grade more than ‘C’.


The Christ university entrance exam eligibility also states that candidates to be appearing in the +2 examinations in March-May 2018 are also eligible to apply for the test on the basis of their class X and XI marks.

 

Christ University Journalism 2018 Eligibility Criteria – For BA Journalism Honours

Candidates must have passed their +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) in any stream (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, and Sciences) from any recognised Board in India. They must have obtained at least 55% in their 10+2.

 

Note: Students pursuing International curriculum must have AIU approval and must obtain a grade of not less than 'C' or its equivalent.

Candidates writing their class XII examinations in March-May 2018 are eligible to apply with their class X and XI marks.

 

Christ University Journalism Eligibility Criteria 2018 – For MAMCS

Candidates applying for MAMCS programme must have passed an undergraduate degree from a university recognized by UGC / AIU. They must have obtained at least with minimum 50 % marks in their under graduation. Students in their final exams are also eligible to apply for Christ University Journalism entrance exam provided they have 50% or above in all the Semesters.

 

Christ University Journalism Application Form 2018 for BA and MA Programmes

 

The application forms for Christ University Journalism 2018 will be available in both online and offline modes from December 8. The officials have mentioned it as online and Direct mode. The details for both the process are,

 

Online mode: Candidates applying through online mode must visit the official website to fill in the online Christ University Journalism application form 2018.


Direct mode: Candidates applying through direct mode or the offline mode must purchase the Christ University Journalism 2018 application forms from the “Admission Office”. Such students also have to fill the application online.

 

Online registration process for Christ University Journalism 2018, for all the programmes are,


a) Candidates have to first create 16 digit login ID. This can be done by entering email address, mobile number and date of birth.


b) Next step is to follow the instructions, mentioned under ‘Apply courses’.


c) After following the instructions, candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs 5000 through Credit / Debit Card / Net banking facility.

d) Next comes the “detailed application” page. Fill in the details and click “Submit”.

 

h) Once the details are filled, fee is paid, candidates will receive the application number along with an option to print the Christ University Journalism 2018 application form.


j) Print and sign the Christ University Journalism application form and keep a copy for future references. The officials will ask for this form copy at the time of selection process of Christ University Journalism entrance exam.

1. One copy of the Christ University Journalismapplication processing fee online payment acknowledgement slip
2. Two (2) recent passport size (photo size of 35mm x 45 mm) and 2 stamp size photographs. Candidates have to write name and application number behind the photographs
3. One copy of the original filled-in printed application form duly signed by the parent
4. Copy of Statement of marks of Class 10 and Class 11/12
5. Copy of Transfer Certificate from last qualified Institution
6. Copy of Migration Certificate for all candidates except for Karnataka State Board

 

Christ University Journalism 2018 Application Fee: Candidates can select the mode of payment, fill-in the required details and submit the fee. The application fee details will be notified by the officials once the application process starts.

 

Christ University Journalism Admit Card 2018 for BA and MA Programmes

 

Candidates can download their admit card for the selection process after logging in through the “Application Status" link given on the University website. They must print the same to carry to the selection centre.  It may be noted that the admit card for Christ University BA CEP or MAMCS will be released after due verification of the supporting documents sent by the candidates along with the application form. Candidates will be able to access the selection process E-Admit card 5 days prior to the start of the selection process of the respective programmes; from April 16. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the selection process without the Christ University Journalism 2018 admit card.

 

Christ University Exam Pattern 2018- For BA programmes

 

According to the Christ University Journalism exam pattern, for the bachelor's programmes, the test will be conducted in an offline mode with duration of 60 minutes. The type of questions will be multiple choice questions.  As per the marking scheme, each correct answer carries one mark and each wrong answer carries -0.25 negative marks.

Christ University Journalism Selection Process 2018

 

The officials call the entire examination process as Christ Selection Process 2018.  The selection process will start soon after the test is conducted; from April 22 till 25. Candidates have to appear in the entrance test, than go for the skill assessment test, and lastly for personal interview rounds. Only after appearing in all three test rounds, candidate will be evaluated and final results for admissions will be declared. The schedule for the selection process will be mentioned on the E-admit card. For some students the dates for the selection process will be same as the test day, while some students might be called on the other day for the selection rounds.

Christ University Journalism Result 2018

 

The officials will declare the final result of Christ University Journalism on April 28, 2018. Candidates will be able to check the names of the selected students for admissions. The same result format will be used to declare Bachelors and Masters programmes result. The results will only be declared once, and not after the test or every round of the selection process.
