DU DSJ Entrance Exam 2017 – The Delhi School of Journalism conducted the DU DSJ 2017 entrance exam on September 17 for admissions to its five-year integrated programme in Journalism (Hindi & English) under the aegis of the Delhi University. The entrance exam of DU DSJ 2017 was held online. The DU DSJ entrance exam 2017 result was also announced on September 22 in the form of a merit list consisting of shortlisted candidates name and registration number. The second merit list was announced on September 26. Shortlisted Candidates will be offered admission on the basis of their merit, eligibility and documents. Qualified candidates from the first admission list will have to report to the University from September 23 to 25, 2017 to confirm their admissions and pay the requisite fees after verification of their documents. In case there are any seats vacant, the officials will announce another merit list for DSJ 2017. The application process was online and available from August 23. The officials announced the merit list or results of DU DSJ entrance exam 2017 on September 22. The second merit list was announced on September 26. This has been released in the form of final admitted student list on the website portal. Candidates have to check the university portal for the same. DU DSJ result 2017 will again be announced as a third merit list on September 29, if there are any seats vacant. Shortlisted candidates have to visit the campus and follow the admission formalities, which includes submission of documents and academic fee.
DU DSJ Selection Procedure 2017
Students whose names are included in the admission list have top visit Room No G-5 of the University Sports Complex (entry from gate No. 2) Page 4 of 6 where Delhi School of Journalism is housed, with all documents on the respective days – i.e. 23 to 25 September 2017 for the first admission list.
Selected candidates will have to follow the following steps:
Verification of documents- this will be held at Delhi School of Journalism, Sports Complex, University of Delhi. Applicants must take the print out of the filled in admission form along with the specified documents and submit at the centre.
Approval of admission- The Delhi School of Journalism will keep the certificates of the approved applicants. After this, the school will approve the admission on the UG admission portal.
Online payment of Admission fee- Once the selection and documents are verified, the applicants have to log-on to the admission portal to pay the Admission Fee.

DU DSJ Eligibility Criteria 2017
According to the eligibility criteria of DU DSJ, candidates must have a passed 10 + 2 or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 50 % marks. In addition, candidates must meet the following guidelines prescribed under the DU DSJ 2017 eligibility criteria
- The pass percentage will be considered as an aggregate of four subjects studied in Class 12. Candidates must have studied one core language and three elective subjects.
- Students awaiting their Class XII results are also eligible to apply.
DU DSJ Application Form 2017
The application forms of DU DSJ entrance exam 2017 were available in the online mode only. Candidates had to create an account by registering with a email id and password. Steps to fill the DU DSJ application form 2017 are
1. Online Registration: The applicants had to register online by entering their name, Email ID, mobile number.
2. Mail confirmation: After successful registration, candidates received their User ID and password to their registered email and mobile number. Students had to check the email and use the credential to re-login.
3. Form filling: Candidates had to fill the online application form of DSJ with their personal, academic and address details at this stage.
4. Uploading: Once the details were filled, candidates had to upload the following documents as per the size mentioned,
Passport size photograph –2 inch x 2 inch (5 mm x 5 mm) in size.
Scanned signature of the applicant.
Self- attested Class XII Mark-Sheet.
Self-attested copy of SC/ST/OBC/PwD//CW valid certificate, if applicable.
A copy of a valid Photo ID as specified
DU DSJ 2017 Application Fee
Candidates had to pay the application fee online through Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking after submission of their application form.
DU DSJ Admit Card 2017
Candidates could download their admit card of DU DSJ from September 11, 2017, three days from the last date of the application form. The admit card had information related to the exam centre, reporting time etc. The DU DSJ 2017 admit cards were available online only.
Candidates must carry the following to the exam centre:
DU DSJ admit card.
Photo ID Identity card - any one of the documents as Aadhar Card, Driving License, PAN card, Voter’s identity card, Passport or College identity card
DU DSJ Exam Pattern 2017
The test will be conducted in an online mode only which is mentioned in the exam pattern of DU DSJ2017 entrance exam.The DU DSJentrance test will test student’s proficiency in Analytical & Comprehension skills as well as General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
