GGSIPU CET 2018 dates announced; IPU CET BJMC on April 29, MAMC on May 5

MAMC-on-May-5Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has announced the dates for its Mass Communication Common Entrance Test (IPU CET). Although the IPU CET BJMC application process will start from the second week of February, the deadline for registration, for both the programmes, is April 10. The application fee of IPU CET BJMC 2018 is likely to remain Rs 1000, similar to previous year. The IPU CET BJMC 2018 will be conducted in an offline mode on Monday, April 29, from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The test for MAMC will be conducted on Sunday, May 5, 2018, from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm.  After the test, the results for the IPU CET BJMC will be announced on May 10, and for the IPU CET MAMC, it will be announced on May 17. GGS IP University offers Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) and MA in Mass Communication (MAMC) through IPU CET.

IPU CET BJMC Eligibility Criteria 2018

 

Candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 50 % in aggregate. All applicants must have studied and passed English as a core, elective or a functional subject in their 10+2. Final year students are eligible to apply provided they furnish proof of their eligibility latest by October 15, 2018.  According to the age limit for IPU CET BJMC 2018, candidates must be above 18 years of age and not more than 21 years as on August 1, 2018.

 

Eligibility Criteria for IPU CET MAMC: Candidates must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized University with an aggregate of 50% marks. Their age must not be more than 35 years at the time of applying.

 

IPU CET Application Process 2018: The application form of IPU CET 2018 BJMC will be available online tentatively from the second week of February 2018. The last date to apply for both BJMC and MAMC programmes will be April 10, 2018.

 

The procedure of application is the same for both BJMC or MAMC. The application process is online where the candidates have to register on the website, upload their photograph and signature, and submit the same with the fee. The application fee of Rs 1000 must be paid online.

 

Only registered candidates will be able to download the IPU CET BJMC admit card seven days before the entrance test. Applicants have to enter their log-in id and password to download the same.

After the IPU CET BJMC, test takers will be able to check the IPU CET 2018 Result on May 10. The results for IPU CET MAMC will be available to check on May 17, 2018. Final selection for both the programmes to the preferred GGSIPU CET BJMC participating institutes will be as per merit via counselling rounds.
