MICAT 2020 - MICA, Ahmedabad has released MICAT II admit card 2020 on January 23 in online mode at mica.ac.in. Candidates can download the admit card by using their login credentials. The authorities MICAT II 2020 exam will be held on January 25 in computer based mode. MICAT 2020 result for phase II will be declared by MICA on February 14. The Officials closed the registration procedure of MICAT 2020 for phase II. Selection to the two year PGDM- C and PGDM courses will be on the basis of MICAT scores. The better of the two MICAT scores will be considered for admissions which consist of a group exercise and personal interview. MICAT 2020 is held across 48 exam centres in the country in two phases - December and February. Around 7500 candidates will be appearing for MICAT Phase I and II ,out of which around 800 will be shortlisted for the PI and GE. Selection will be on the basis of the scores obtained in MICAT, PI and GE for the 180 seats in PGDMC and 36 seats in PGDM offered by the institute. Only candidates who have qualified in CAT 2019 / XAT 2020 / GMAT (2018 onward) can apply for MICAT 2020. In MICAT 2020, applicants are given choice to opt for PGDM-C or PGDM programme. Students who wish to opt for both the programmes, they will have to enter the programme of their first preference as priority 1 and the programme of second preference as priority 2.
MICA has released MICAT 2020 admit card for second phase on January 23 in online mode. Candidates can download their admit card by using their MICA ID and password. Candidates are required to carry a valid photo ID along with the admit card of MICAT 2020. Candidates can see the following details on MICAT 2020 admit card.

To appear for MICAT 2020, candidates have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria. MICAT 2020 eligibility criteria mention all the parameters such as the qualifying marks they need to have scored in their graduation, the entrance exam they need to get through to appear for MICAT and the age restriction.
Entrance exam: Candidates must have qualified in any one of the following national/ international entrance exams:
Note - If a candidate has appeared for more than one exam (CAT, XAT and GMAT), the better of the two/ best of the three exams performance will be taken into consideration for MICAT admissions. Weightage given to these scores for selection is 20% while for shortlisting the weightage is 50%.
Age limit: There is no age restriction for candidates who wish to appear in MICAT 2020.
MICAT application form for phase II was released on November 27, 2019 and the last date to fill the same was January 17, 2020. The best of the two scores will be considered for the final selection.
Candidates can follow the steps given below for filling MICAT application form 2020.
Step 1 – MICAT Registration: Candidates have to enter their name, mobile number, email ID and submit the same to register and fill the application form of MICAT 2020.
Step 2- Login to fill Personal Details: Candidates must enter details like nationality, gender, date of birth. They must also select at least three exam centres of MICAT in order of preference
Step 3- Qualification Details: Candidates must enter their educational details related to class X, XII, graduation and post-graduation ( if applicable). Details of any work experience must also be provided here
Step 4-Details of CAT 2019/XAT 2020/GMAT 2018 scores: Candidates must enter the scores of any one of the exams. GMAT scores can be from 2018 onwards.
Step 5- Uploading of Documents: Candidates must upload the scanned images of photograph and signature. The size of the file should be 80 KB and in JPG or JPEG format.
Step 6- Payment of MICAT Application Fee: This is the last stage before submission of the form. Candidates can pay the application fee online through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking or offline through DD in favour of MICA payable at Ahmedabad. The DD must be sent along with the payment advice to the institute after putting a signature on the given space.
MICAT 2020 Application Fee: Rs 1985
Candidates who appeared in MICAT 2020 can check MICAT exam analysis 2020. The exam analysis mentions overall difficulty level of the entrance test, section-wise difficulty level, types of questions asked in each section, weightage given to particular topics or sections. According to MICAT exam analysis 2020, the paper was moderately difficult. A total number of questions in psychometric test was 150 while 4 questions were asked in descriptive section. Exam analysis will also include inputs from experts of different coaching institutes, such as IMS Learning and Career Launcher.
MICA will release the result of MICAT for phase II on February 14 in online mode at mica.ac.in. Candidates can check their results by entering their user id and password. MICA will declare the final result in online mode in last week of March 2020. Candidates can check if they are eligible for MICAT 2020 personal interview and group exercise by entering their application number.

The minimum marks that candidates need to obtain to be eligible for the next round of selection is the MICAT 2020 cutoff. The score obtained in each section of MICAT 2020 will be calculated into a normalized score separately. The total MICAT-I/MICAT-II score will also be normalized using appropriate statistical methods. It is to be noted that about 1/10th of the total number of candidates who appear in both MICAT I and II will be shortlisted for GE & PI based on their CAT/XAT/ GMAT and the total MICAT Score.
After clearing and qualifying in MICAT 2020, candidates must further participate in a group exercise and a personal interview. The weightage given to each stage of the MICAT selection process is given in the table below.

MICAT 2020 shortlisting criteria for GE & PI:
The order of shortlisting for MICAT 2020 GE and PE has been explained by MICA as follows. It is to be noted that each section of the entrance exam has its own cutoff and candidates are first assessed in section A, then CAT/XAT or GMAT scores followed by a performance in section B and lastly section C. The assessment is as follows.
Candidates must qualify first in section A of MICAT (Psychometric test)
Those who qualify in the Psychometric section will move to the next stage where their relative performance on CAT 2019/XAT 2020 /GMAT 2018 onwards will be considered. Only candidates who have scored the minimum cut-off in these entrance exams shall be considered further.
Next to be considered is Section B of MICAT 2020 where students who score the minimum cutoff (normalized scores) will be assessed further in section C.
Candidates who have qualified in all sections will be called for the group exercise and personal interview to be held at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata & Mumbai
The candidates' list for GE & PI is prepared on the composite score formula which is 50% CAT/XAT/GMAT + 50% MICAT scores
Candidates who appear in GE & PI will be considered for the final MICAT 2020 merit list only if they are recommended by the majority of the panelists of the personal interview.

MICA offers a diploma called PGDM-C which is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

As far as last year cutoff is concerned which is 78 percentile in CAT you have no chance. Getting good score in MICAT can get you a call till 75 percentile at some conditions but getting less than 70, In my opinion there is no chance, However MICA also accept XAT score so, if you have good percentile like 75-80 in it than you have a chance to convert it.

During the selection process, CAT will have 20% weightage and MICAT will have 30% weightage. So, if you score well, your chances may increase. Your academic scores and your performance in GD and PI also matter when it comes to admission.

As per my knowledge the MICAT-I application form is out and the last date for filling the form is 25th November 2019.
For filling the academic details the aspirant should have atleast
50% in his undergrads
65% and above in his class XII and class 10.
Marks should be in percentage
The Aggregate of marks is considered and not something like Best of 4 or 5 subjects.
