I pursued a three-month internship with Dabur India at their corporate office in Ghaziabad. As a part of their digital marketing team, I was assigned certain jobs. For instance, maintaining weekly campaign reports, keeping a track of timelines. This internship also taught me affiliate marketing and lead generation over emails. I used to send more than 500 emails every day. Collaborating with other teams like the design and sales team on campaign reports and creatives was also something that I enjoyed.
My reporting manager was very helpful and cordial. He taught me many things that are now proving to be vital in the job that I am doing right now. My whole internship was a great learning experience and gave me an insight into the real working environment of a big company like Dabur. The learnings and exposure that I got there proved to be very important for me in starting my professional career. I would say that this internship not only helped me gain priceless skills but also helped me grow as a professional.

We all know that an internship plays an important role in order to get a good job with a good company. I did a 2-month internship at a start-up dealing in electronics items at Okhla in New Delhi. It was a paid internship but the stipend given to me was only Rs 5,000 per month.
I assisted one of the founders of the company who also managed the digital marketing functions. The first two days were just an induction and job overview. I was then assigned the task to handle the company’s Facebook and Instagram handles. I was also asked to write content that combined SEO and creative writing. To sum up my work there, I was responsible for increasing the company's brand awareness via online advertisements on various social media platforms.
Two months is a short time, but I did learn quite a few things during this internship. Two of the most important learnings that I would like to share are; you can be asked to do more than what was told on your first day, and second you can also be asked to work on things that are not your area of expertise. As a fresher, it’s important to understand these will prepare you for the real job when it happens. So, gear up for such unexpected bouncers coming your way!
