MICAT 2023 - MICA, Ahmedabad has announced the MICAT phase 2 result on February 17, 2023. MICA, Ahmedabad has released the MICAT 2023 admit card for phase 2 on its official website on January 24, 2023. MICAT closed the MICAT phase 2 registration. The institute has announced the MICAT result 2023 for phase I in the form of a scorecard on December 21 and for phase II, the result will be declared on February 17, 2023, in online mode. MICA, Ahmedabad issued MICAT 2023 admit card for phase 1 on December 1, 2022. MICAT application form for phase 1 was out on October 1, 2022. Candidates could apply for MICAT first phase of registration till November 21, 2022. The MICAT 2023 admission test for phase I was conducted on December 3, 2022 and phase II was conducted on January 28, 2023, in computer based mode. Candidates must go through the eligibility criteria of MICAT 2023 before starting the application form. The admit card for MICAT 2023 admission test will be released on the official website of the institute. MICAT 2023 is a national level entrance exam which is conducted by the MICA, Ahmedabad twice in a year for admission to its flagship two-year programmes-

What is MICAT?
MICA Ahmadabad conducts MICAT entrance exam in computer based mode in December and February. Candidates may write both MICAT I and II or only MICAT-I or MICAT-II. In case candidates take both MICAT-I and MICAT-II, then section A, B, and C may not appear in the same order. MICA admission test is held for admission to 36 PGDM and 180 PGDM-C seats at MICA, Ahmedabad. Every year around 4000-4700 candidates apply for appearing in each of the sessions of MICAT, whereas 700-800 candidates are finally able to crack the examination, securing the MICAT cut off marks. In other words, over 17-18% candidates are able to finally make it to the next round of MICAT selection process. The eligibility criteria of MICAT 2023 entrance exam is set by MICA, the conducting body of MICAT. MICAT Eligibility Criteria 2023: Qualifying Score
- Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

MICA Ahmedabad has started MICAT 2023 application process for phase 2 on November 22. MICAT 2023 application process for phase 1 was started on October 1, 2022. After filling the MICAT 2023 application form, candidates of all the categories have to pay a fee Rs. 1985. The MICAT application fee can be paid via debit card, credit card or demand draft.

How to Fill MICAT 2023 Application Form 2023
Steps given below to fill the MICAT 2023 application form:
Step 1- Registration for MICAT: Firstly, Candidates have to register by using their valid email address and password.
Step 2- Fill an application form of MICAT 2023: After registration, candidates have to fill all the information such as personal details, academic details, work experience (if any) and select at least three preferred exam centres from the list available. Candidates have to select the city where they would like to present for the group exercise and personal interview.

Candidates who have appeared for the entrance exam may know that MICAT selection process has four steps as explained below:
Step-I: Valid Scores in CAT 2021/ XAT 2022/GMAT (2020 onwards).
All applicants must have a valid score in any one - CAT 2021/ XAT 2022/GMAT (2020 onwards). The scores of these exams will be considered in compilation of the final merit list. The CAT score/ XAT registration or GMAT score as the case may be has to be updated in the online application form of MICAT. In case of XAT, the score is directly collected from XLRI.
Step-II: MICA Admission Test (MICAT 2023).
MICAT is the computer based test held in exam centres across 48 cities in the country. The test has three sections as mentioned below
Section A: Psychometric Test
Section B: (has 4 sub-sections) - Verbal ability, Quantitative ability and Data Interpretation, General awareness; Divergent and Convergent Thinking
Section C: Descriptive Test.
Step-III: Group Exercise & Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear for both Group Exercise (GE) & Personal Interview (PI) on the basis of their performance in CAT/ XAT/GMAT and MICAT in the ratio of 50:50.
Step-IV: Candidates will be offered admission on the basis of the final composite score compiled as follows
CAT/XAT/GMAT: 20%
MICAT: 30%
GE: 20%
PI: 30%
How will candidates be shortlisted for GE & PI rounds?
For GE & PI, the Psychometric test will be the first step to qualify.
Those who will qualify in the Psychometric test, their CAT/XAT/GMAT performance will be taken into consideration
Those who will qualify based on the CAT/XAT cutoff or GMAT score will further be assessed on the following MICAT sections: Verbal ability (VA), Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation (QADI), General Awareness (GA), and Divergent and Convergent Thinking (DCT).
Those candidates who will qualify on the basis of performance subject to a minimum cutoff in a scaled score for each of these sections (namely: VA, QADI, GA and DCT) and CAT/XAT cut-off or GMAT scores will have their Descriptive Tests analysed for selection.
Note: The list of qualified candidates will be prepared on the basis of scores of both phases of MICAT 2023 entrance exam if a candidate has taken both MICAT-I and MICAT-II.

MICAT Fee Structure (official)
Candidates who are selected may need to know the MICAT 2023 fee structure which has to be announced by the authorities. However, the fee structure of MICAT 2023 can be used to get an estimate of the amount required to study the course. An amount of 20,00,000 approx will have to be paid by students. This is inclusive of tuition fees, residential charges, infrastructure facility charges etc.

Candidates shortlisted based on their performance in CAT/XAT/GMAT & MICAT appear in both Group Exercise (GE) & Personal Interview (PI).
MICAT Shortlisting Criteria for GE & PI
Section A of MICAT which is the Psychometric test is a qualifier.
The relative performance in CAT/XAT/GMAT will be considered for candidates who have qualified in the Psychometric section.
Candidates whose CAT score /XAT total percentile/GMAT score match the specified minimum cutoff will be shortlisted
Next performance in MICAT 2023 Section B will be assessed.
Candidates who score marks equal or above a minimum cut-off for Section B of MICAT will be subject to assessment of their performance in MICAT Section C.
It is to be noted that each section will have its own cut-off and candidates who meet this will be eligible for the next round of selection.
Those who qualify on the basis of a, b, c and d shall be short listed for GE and PI. Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata & Mumbai are the places where the GE and PI will be conducted.
Shortlisting for GE & PI candidate list is prepared on the Composite Score formula of 50% CAT/XAT/GMAT and 50% MICAT scores

GMAT is graduate management admission test which is conducted by GMAC for admission of MBA in many countries, the eligibility criteria regarding this is as follows;
Candidates needs to be 18 years old or above,
Pass bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university, those in the final year or working professionals too are eligible to apply,
Should have a valid passport,
As the exam is conducted in English, hence proficiency in the same language is required as well,

CMAT is conducted for 180 minutes, and additional 30 minutes is allotted for optional section, there are total of five sections(one is optional) and each one consists of 25 questions for 100 marks as mentioned below-

On February 17, 2022, MICA, Ahmedabad, announced the MICAT 2022 result for phase 2 on mica.ac.in. Using their login credentials, candidates may check the MICAT 2022 phase 2 result. MICAT result 2022 has been emailed to applicants' registered email addresses, and students who took the entrance exam can now verify their qualifying status.
To check the result, follow the below mentioned steps:
Visit MICA Ahmedabad's main website at mica.ac.in.
Select "MICAT 1 Result" from the drop-down menu.
On the screen, a candidate login window will display.
Click the "Login" tab after entering the user ID and password.
Download the MICAT scorecard 2022 and check your qualifying status.

MICAT Syllabus - Psychometric Test
Basically, this is a personality test and this section is different from other management entrance examinations. It is mandatory for the candidates to attempt all the questions in this section. Some of the important aspects related to the test are explained below.
In this section, the questions are designed to assess the candidates’ behavior which includes thinking ability, personality, strengths and weaknesses etc. Questions are based on career goals, life goals, situational judgement. Candidates should answer the questions with honesty and open mind
Multiple-choice questions are asked.
Duration allotted for the psychometric test is 25 minutes.
According to previous year sample papers, in the first set of questions, out of the three options candidates should select the option which describes their behavior in the best way.
In the second set of MICAT questions, candidates were asked to give a rating on a scale of 1 to 6 for the responses in terms of their priority under a certain scenario. Around 8 to 10 questions were asked in the entrance exam.
