MICAT 2019- Marking Scheme

 

In MICAT exam pattern 2019, candidates can check the marking scheme as this will help them to know how many marks they will score if they answer the questions correctly and how many marks will they lose if they respond incorrectly.

 

Marking scheme for descriptive and Psychometric sections

  • No marks will be deducted for any incorrect answer that is given by the candidate in psychometric section. It is compulsory for the candidates to answer all the questions in this section. If they fail to do so, they might lead to their disqualification.

  • For every wrong answer given in verbal ability, quantitative ability, general awareness and divergent convergent reasoning, there is negative marking. ¼ marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Total Number of questions in MICAT 2019

 

There is no fixed number of questions that are asked in MICAT. Every year the total number of questions in MICAT 2019 varies in each section. In 2018, MICAT II, there were 140 to 150 questions.

 

Candidates must remember that MICAT exam pattern 2019 is not static and every year it is different. In MICAT I exam pattern, there were some changes such as the Psychometric test section was placed in the end, there were 25 questions that were asked in the general ability section as compared 22 which were asked last year.
