According to the IIMC Selection Procedure 2020, a short-list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in qualifying Graduation Examination, Plus Two Examination, Online Interview and Matriculation Examination with a weightage of 40:20:20:20 percent respectively. The final rank list and admission will be decided on the basis of the candidates’ overall score out of 100 marks. IIMC Entrance Exam 2020
Indian Institute of Mass Communication conducted the IIMC 2020 entrance exam on October 18 in proctored mode. The admission is regulated on the basis of a short-list which is prepared based on the marks obtained in qualifying Graduation Examination, Plus Two Examination, and Matriculation Examination with a weightage of 40:20:20 percent respectively. The shortlisted candidates are called for an online interview. The interview carries a weightage of 20 percent. The final Rank List and admission is decided on the basis of the candidates’ overall score out of 100 marks.
Online Interview
The admission panel will assess the confidence and communication skills of the test-takers while conducting the personal interview. Participants should carry themselves in formal-wear to make a dynamic appearance in the personal interview rounds. After all the three rounds, the final list of candidates will be prepared and they will be assigned colleges in IIMC counselling process.

IIMC Merit List 2020
The IIMC 2020 1st merit list has been released on October 31, in online mode. The second merit list of IIMC 2020 will be released soon. After the second round of admissions, if any seats remain vacant, the authorities will release the third merit list. IIMC 2020 merit list is different for the various postgraduate diploma courses that have been offered by the institute. Candidates whose names are given in IIMC merit list 2020, they will have have to confirm their admission by paying the necessary fees for the programme in which they have been offered admission.
Note: If a selected candidate fails to remit the first installment of the prescribed course fee by 20th September, 2020, her/his claim for the seat will be forfeited and the seat will be offered to the next eligible candidate from the rank list.

IIMC is conducted for admission to postgraduate diploma program in journalism with its following campuses;
IIMC New Delhi
IIMC Dhenkanal
IIMC Aizawl
IIMC Amravati
IIMC Jammu
IIMC Kottayam
IIMC doesn't have its campus in Kolkata, so you can't get admission there, however if you're interested to give this exam,you may choose any of the aforementioned campus.
Since the application form was suppose to be updated on their website on April 30,2020. The official website for IIMC seems to have updated about the entrance exam but have not provided any link for further registration. Could you kindly guide me to the link for online registration?

how to get addmission in masters program in iimc??

If you want to get admission in Masters program in IIMC, you need to answer an entrance exam conducted by IIMC. Also, to apply for this college, the candidate must have a graduation degree from any recognized University. Even the final year students are who are waiting to avail their results shall apply for the same. The exam will be conducted in offline mode and will be held for duration of 2 hours. You have to fill the entrance exam application form on the official website of IIMC. Based on the merit, students will be selected and called for a group discussion after which admissions will be given.

Exam for Odia/Urdu/Marathi/Malayalam Journalism will be on May 25,2020 and For Pg diploma courses will be on May 26,2020.Th applications for this entrance examination starts from April 17,2020 till May 01,2020.I hope this information may helps you a little bit.Good luck!!
