IIMC Selection Process 2023- Indian Institute of Mass Communication will release the IIMC first spot merit list in October. Candidates who will be featured in the merit list are eligible for the IIMC 2023 selection process based on their rankings. To be able to claim their admissions, candidates must complete the IIMC selection process 2023. During the IIMC 2023 selection process, the admission authorities will check and verify the candidates' documents in order to admit the shortlisted candidates. Along with the merit lists, the IIMC selection process 2023 will be made public. After the documents have been successfully verified, the seats on the desired programmes will be assigned to the candidates.
NOTE - Admission to PG courses of IIMC will be done through the scores of CUET PG 2023

IIMC Selection Process 2023
The IIMC selection process is divided into three stages. The first stage is the registration, which is also the most important and weighted stage, followed by seat allocation results, online willingness and document verification. For admissions to PGD Marathi, the admissions will be done through IIMC 2023 entrance exam. Following the announcement of the IIMC results, qualified candidates are required to participate in a personal interview and group discussion round.

IIMC Entrance Exam 2023
The IIMC 2023 entrance exam will be held in September for PGD Marathi. The entrance exam for the IIMC will held in 25 cities across the country. The IIMC exam 2023 lasts two hours in total. The IIMC 2023 entrance exam results was made available online on the institute's website. Applicants who pass the IIMC entrance exam are considered for the next round of admissions.

IIMC Group Discussion (IIMC GD)
Candidates who qualify the entrance exam will be invited to participate in the IIMC group discussion round. The IIMC 2023 group discussion takes place on both the New Delhi and regional campuses. The purpose of holding a group discussion round is to assess the candidates' knowledge of specific journalism-related topics. It also assist admissions officers in selecting the most suitable candidates for the available seats.
IIMC Personal Interview (IIMC PI)
Candidates for admission to NRI seats are exempted from the written entrance test and are invited directly to the group discussion and personal interview round. The admissions committee conducts a personal interview as part of the selection process to assess candidates' knowledge and other skills required for participation in the programme, such as communication skills, confidence, and critical thinking ability.
IIMC Selection Process 2023 - Weightage
The final IIMC merit list for PGD Marathi is released based on the candidates' overall performance in all three rounds. The most weightage are given to the IIMC entrance exam. To be eligible for the admission process and make it to the merit list, candidates must participate in each and every round.

IIMC Merit List 2023
The IIMC 2023 merit list for first spot round will be made available online in October. Candidates whose names appear on the IIMC merit list 2023 must confirm their admissions by paying the admission fees for the programme to which they have been admitted. If the selected candidates do not pay the IIMC admission fee within the time frame specified, they may forfeit their claim to the admissions. The IIMC merit list 2023 includes information about the admission process, such as the names of the shortlisted candidates, the deadline for paying the admission fees, the category of the candidates, the programme applied for, the mode of payment, and the candidates' roll numbers.

There are no major changes in the exam pattern of CAT.
The paper will be divided into three sections and has a total of 76 questions.
There will be 26 questions in the VARC and Quantitative aptitude section and 24 questions in the DILR section.
For shortlisting, the candidate must score high in each section to clear the sectional score cutoffs.
