Candidates can check the GMCET result 2024 for fourth phase by entering their details on the official portal. The institution closed the GMCET phase 4 registration on March 22. Applicants who had successfully registered for GMCET phase 4, were required to appear for GMCET 2024 phase 4 exam on March 23.

What is GMCET?
Global Media Common Entrance Test or GMCET is an all South Asia that offers admission to the undergraduate media courses. This is an institution & university level entrance exam. The students will be assessed based on their communication skills and necessary analytics and logical reasoning. It is a 100-mark paper with 25 questions each testing English language and IQ, general knowledge of news and current affairs, entertainment media knowledge, brands and basic brand communication knowledge. The GMCET 2024 exam will be conducted in the online mode and can be taken from home.

The candidates appearing for GMCET 2024 should check the eligibility criteria of their desired programmes and universities. As per the GMCET 2024 eligibility criteria, the candidates must have a minimum education qualification of higher secondary (10+2) or any equivalent education with a minimum aggregate of 50% for general category & 45% for SC/ST/OBC or should be appearing for the same in 2024.
A candidate with a three or four-year diploma, from a recognized university approved by AICTE with a minimum of 50% marks can also apply.

The GMEC will close the GMCET phase 5 application 2024 on April 26. Admissions to undergraduate programmes such as BA-JMC & BJMC, BMS (Bachelor of Media Studies), BMC (Bachelor of Mass Communication), BMM (Bachelor of Mass Media), BA (Media & Communication), BSc (Animation & Graphics) and BSc (Media Technologies) must be submitted online. Step 1 - Visit the official website - gmcet.org.
Step 2 - Enter details like program applied for, name, e-mail-id, mobile number, date of birth, and verification code displayed on the screen.
Step 3 - After the registration is done an application ID and password will be generated.
Step 4 - Use the application number and password to log-in. Now fill out the remaining application form.
Step 5 - Upload scanned images of all the documents required.
Step 6 - Select the examination centers- In order of the preference, select and enter the exam centres.
Step 7 - Now, enter the university and programme details.
Step 8 - Pay the applicable fees in online mode and take a printout of the application form.

The duration of the GMCET exam is of one hour and has 100 multiple choice questions with a single correct answer. The exam consists of 100 marks and tests the student's ability in four sections, with multiple choice questions. The GMCET assesses basic knowledge of the applicant in these four areas, with 25 questions in each segment: (A) English Language & IQ; (B) General Knowledge of News & Current Affairs; (C) Entertainment Media Knowledge; and (D) Brands & Brand Communication Basic Knowledge.

The Global Media Education Council (GMEC) issues the GMCET 2024 admit card in online mode at the official website. Candidates who have successfully applied for the GMCET entrance exam could download their GMCET admit card 2024 by using their login credentials. On the day of the entrance exam, candidates must carry the given below documents along with them. The Global Media Education Council (GMEC) will announce the phase 5 result of GMCET 2024 on April 29. The institution has declared GMCET phase 4 result 2024 on March 27. Earlier, the institution had announced GMCET phase 3 result 2024 on February 26. GMCET results are made available only on the official GMCET website. The GMCET result is declared in the form of score card in online mode. Candidates will need to use their user login and password (created during the registration process) for viewing the results on the web page. All candidates who appeared in GMCET 2024 will be able to download their scorecards from the official GMCET 2024 website.
Following the announcement of the results, all participating universities will begin the admissions process. Universities will first invite applications from candidates and then release cut-offs based on GMCET results. The candidates who clear the cut-off will be invited to the counselling round, where their documents will be reviewed and they can lock in their seats by paying the admission fee.
