The Global Media Education Council has started the GMCET 2025 registration process in online mode. Students can fill the GMCET application form 2025 through the website at gmcet.org. Global Media Common Entrance Test or GMCET is an university level entrance exam that offers admission to the undergraduate media courses. The students will be selected based on their communication skills and necessary analytics and logical reasoning. GMCET 2025 exam is a 100-mark paper with 25 questions each testing English language and IQ, general knowledge of news and current affairs, entertainment media knowledge, brands and basic brand communication knowledge.

GMCET Global Media Common Entrance Test (session 2025)
Students must check the basic GMCET eligibility criteria 2025 of the desired programme. Here is the list of some basic GMCET eligibility criteria:
Students must pass 12 examinations or its equivalent.
They must secure 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for OBC/SC/ST.
Students appearing in 10+2 in 2025 are also eligible.
A candidate with a three or four-year diploma, from a recognized university approved by AICTE with a minimum of 50% marks can also apply.

STEP 1: Visit the official website at gmcet.org.
STEP 2: Applicants need to register themselves by entering a programme application, name, email id, mobile number, date of birth and verification code.
STEP 3: An application id and password is generated as the registration process gets over.
STEP 4: Now, login using the application number and password to complete the further process.
STEP 5: Applicants now need to upload the scanned documents.
STEP 6: In the next step, they will have to fill the exam centre names in order of their preferences.
STEP 7: Now, they are asked to enter University and programme details.
STEP 8: In the last step, submit the application fee through online mode.

GMEC has released the GMCET 2025 exam pattern along with the application form on their website. The pattern of the GMCET includes total number of questions asked, total marks, time duration of the entrance exam, number of sections, marking scheme and others. The GMEC tests the students ability through four different subjects- English Language & IQ; General Knowledge of News & Current Affairs; Entertainment Media Knowledge; and Brands & Brand Communication Basic Knowledge.

The Global Media Education Council will release the GMCET admit card 2025 a few days before the entrance exam in online mode. Applicants who applied for the exam can download the admit card login through the login credentials. GMCET admit card is an important document to appear in the GMCET exam 2025. The examinee must bring the photo id proof along with the admit card. One will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without the admit card.

The GMCET result will be declared in the form of a scorecard. Shortlisted candidates will have to select their preferred university and college. All the applicants will get the All India Rank. According to this list the GMCET counselling will be held.
As soon as the results are announced, all participating universities will begin the admissions process. Qualified students will have to register for the GMCET counselling process 2025 .The conducting body will release the cut-offs based on the GMCET results. The candidates who clear the cut-off will be invited to the counselling round. Those students will need to verify their documents and also need to lock their seats by paying fees.
