Amita Marotkar 23rd May, 2019

Hello Khushal!

The candidates are selected based upon marks and percentile considering cutoff provided, but when alot of candidates secure the same marks and percentile they consider the candidates who have aatained higher marks in other qualifications and academic achievements. But it is possible that there is some other error in the process, I request you to call the helpline numbers and communicate the same with them.

Be hopeful and prepare for the interview round and in the meantime check personaly all the things that might have happened.

Hope this helps

All the best!

Hey ! Ive got a score of 58 and a percentile of 69.28 in acting JET2019.. Will i be able to clear the first stage ?

Arishmita Aditya 22nd May, 2019

Hi Udit, the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune and Satyajit Ray Film and Television Insititute, Kolkata are both one of the renowned colleges of art and film production in India. The Joint Entrance Exam (JET) is a multi-stages selection programme and for pursuing your eduation in these colleges, you need to pass in all the required stages.

This year the FTII hosted the JET 2019 on 24th February in 2 sessions across 26 centres in India. The results of JET 2019 has already been declared on 17th May. You can check it in https://www.applyadmission.net/jet2019/ResultWrittenTest_JET2019.aspx using your registered application number, Date of Birth and Roll Number.

As it seems that your result has already been declared, you can confirm your status for clearing the first stage. 69.28 percentile is a good result, but every year the selection criteria changes according to the average performance.

I hope you can access your result conveniently, do enquire in case of further necessity.

Good Luck Udit!

I have scored 60 in sound rec and television engg. can i get FTII or SRFTI with this much of score ?

Shivam Purohit 21st May, 2019

Yes of course you will get it but let me tell you it doesn't need that how much percentage you get in your bachelor's degree you just need to get 50% and the most importantly you have to give the the the entrance FTII. Total 10 seat available it's not easy to get admission in ftii,

Hope for the best if you need any more enquiry regarding this then please drop a message

Thank you
