IPU CET BJMC 2020 - Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has released the IPU CET 2020 BJMC application form in online mode at ipu.ac.in. Candidates can submit IPU CET BJMC application form till March 31, 2020. The authorities will conduct the IPU CET BJMC 2020 exam in online mode from April 25 to May 5, 2020. The qualified candidates in the IPU CET BJMC 2020 entrance test will be offered admission to journalism and mass communication course at an undergraduate and postgraduate level. The authorities will release the admit card in the second week of April 2020. The result for IPU CET BJMC will be declared in the fourth week of May 2020. The qualified candidates will have to participate in IPU CET BJMC 2020 counselling, the registration for the same will start in online mode from June 18 to June 25, 2020. A total of 600 seats is offered for BJMC programme across its university and 12 affiliated institutes. IPU CET BJMC 2020 is one of the popular Entrance Examination conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) Delhi. Successful candidates of IP University BJMC Entrance Examination will be eligible to apply for Journalism and Mass Communication courses offered by different Top IP University BJMC colleges in Delhi/NCR.
Candidates before applying for the course should know the eligibility criteria of IPU CET 2020, which includes academic qualifications, age limit and other necessary requirements. The IPU CET BJMC 2020 eligibility criteria can be checked below in the table.
Passing class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% in aggregate is mandatory. All applicants must have studied and passed English as a core, elective or a functional subject in their 10+2. Final year students can also apply provided they furnish the proof of their eligibility latest by October 15, 2020. 5% relaxation of marks will be given to SC/ST/widows or wards of defence personnel/persons with disability.
Candidates should be above eighteen years of age and not exceed 21 years as on August 1, 2020. Minor candidates, if eligible in all other ways, can submit an affidavit by their parent/guardian. It should be submitted to the concerned officials as well.
Applicants should be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university with an aggregate of 50% marks at least. Their age should not be more than 35 years at the time of applying.
Candidates can fill IPU CET BJMC 2020 application form from March 3 to March 31, 2020 in online mode. The steps to fill the application is same for BJMC and MAMC.
Step 1 - In the first step of IPU CET BJMC application, candidates have to fill their personal information, such as

Step 2 - Upload the Documents
In this part of IPU CET BJMC application form, candidates will have to upload the following documents according to the specified specifications:

Step - 3 Enter the qualification details
After submitting the form, the login ID and password are generated. These are sent to the candidate's registered email ID.
Step 4 - Make the payment
Candidates will have to make the payment of Rs. 1000 via debit/credit card or net banking.
Important- Two printouts of the registration form of IPU CET 2020 should be taken. One should be submitted at the time of document verification, and the other should be kept safe with them.
If applicants make any mistakes in their IPU CET BJMC 2020 application form, they will have to submit the application form in person along with processing fees of Rs.500 to the reception, Examination Division, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. This application form should be submitted within five days from the last date of the IPU CET 2020 application form. Candidates can make corrections in DOB, spelling mistakes in candidate’s or parents’ name, category, and region.
The exam of IPU CET BJMC 2020 will be conducted only in Delhi. For this reason, the authorities will not release any list of IPU CET BJMC 2020 exam centres. The details regarding the same will be available to candidates in their hall tickets.
IP University will make available the exam pattern of IPU CET BJMC 2020. The entrance will be held in offline mode and duration will be 2.5 hours. According to IPU CET BJMC exam pattern 2020, candidates will have to use a black point pen for marking their responses to the questions asked.

Those who are unable to download the admit card of IPU CET BJMC 2020, they will have to contact the Office of Controller of Examinations (Operations) at GGSIP University, Sector 16C, Dwarka, New Delhi 110078 at least five days before the exam date. They will have to submit a copy of their IPU CET BJMC 2020 application form and the payment receipt.
Candidates must carry one of the following documents along with the IPU CET BJMC admit card with a photograph fixed on it to their allotted examination hall.

Candidates have to keep their belongings outside of the exam centre. Mobile phones and other gadgets are not allowed in the exam centre.

The result of IPU CET BJMC will be declared by the university in online mode in the fourth week of May, 2020. The result of IPU CET BJMC will mention the candidate’s roll number, name, category, region and rank. Admission to the BJMC or the MAMC programmes will be based on the merit rank secured by candidates in IPU CET 2020.

Though you are not eligible for top tier governemnt college. And do keep some college as backup plan.

All depends on the callibre of candidate how he/she grabs the opportunities and learn from them. You have got a decent rank in IPU CET BA(JMC) and according to your rank you have a really good chance in VIPS by the sliding round. Last year the closing rank was 381 for 2nd shift in VIPS and 339 for 1st shift for an Outside Delhi General. So my advice for you would be to use float option as you may end up with VIPS if you have given it higher priority in your choice filling.

IPU CET Counselling 2019: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has commenced the counselling of IPU CET 2019 on July 9. IPU CET 2019 counselling is being conducted in an online mode for all B.Tech programmes including B.Tech Biotech. IPU CET counselling will be held in three rounds followed by a spot round if there are any vacancies left. It may be noted that there will be no IPU CET ; instead counselling and seat allotment will be on the basis of JEE Main Paper 1 scores. The counselling of IPU CET 2019 comprise of steps such as registration, choice filling and locking, admission fee payment and seat allotment. Candidates have to register first followed by payment of admission fee of Rs. 1000 (excluding bank charges) either through online payment or through challan.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGS IPU) will not conduct IPU CET 2019 but use JEE Main 2019 scores/ rank for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes offered by University.
