XIC OET Selection Process 2022

On June 8, the candidates will be notified via email of the timings of the group discussion and personal interviews. Candidates who have taken the XIC OET 2022 in Mumbai and Delhi for programmes such as Public Relations and Corporate Communication must first participate in a group discussion. As part of the selection process, there will be two more rounds, a group discussion and a personal interview, following the announcement of the XIC OET result 2022. Following that, the shortlisted candidates will be subjected to a personal interview. There will only be a single personal interview for the candidates who have appeared for XIC OET 2022 for Advertising and Marketing Communication and Film, Television programmes in Delhi centre.

XIC OET Counselling 2022

Only candidates who have qualified according to the final results will be invited to the XIC OET 2022 counselling round. To claim their admissions on time, candidates must attend the XIC OET counselling 2022 schedule. After the final results are announced, XIC OET 2022 counselling will begin as the final stage of admissions. Candidates who do not live in the same city must submit their documents on the first day of college.

XIC OET 2022 Admission Process

The XIC admissions process consists of several rounds, including an online entrance test, a Skype video interview / personal interview, and a group discussion. Candidates who excel in all of these rounds will be considered for admission to the respective course. The following are the stages of the admissions process.

Online Entrance Test

The online entrance exam will last 90 minutes and will be worth 150 points. It is divided into two sections.

• Objective Section: Carries 100 marks and to be completed in 60 minutes. It consists of questions based on Language Skills, General Knowledge and Knowledge of Media, Logical and Analytical skills.

• Subjective Section: Carries 50 marks and to be completed in 30 minutes. It consists of 3 questions which could be media related in order to assess creativity, social values, writing skills, etc of the candidate. Some questions can also be related to the Course you are applying for.

Skype Video Interview/ Personal Interview + Group Discussion (for PR only)

The following round consists of a Skype interview/Group Discussion and a personal interview to assess the applicant's communication skills, leadership abilities, and so on. This round will aid in determining a person's ability to deal with real-life situations.
