Since IIMC offers a lot of courses, you will have to choose the course(s) of your liking in the application form. The last date for filling the IIMC 2018 application form will tentatively be second week of May 2018.

For detailed information on the eligibility for other categories, the courses available and the entrnce exam syllabus you can refer to this Article - https://media.careers360.com/articles/iimc-entrance-exam

Since I have also done my PG Diploma in Journalism from IIMC, I can say from my personal experience that if you start you preparations even today and keep yourself updated with the most prominent events of this and the previous year by referring to one or two good new papers (viz. The Indian Express), you will have a very strong chance of scoring good marks in the entrance exam and acing the group discussion and personal interview. All the best with your preparations.

Is the ACJ institute better or IIMC? I am unable to decide. Please give me details

Urvashi Dalal 31st Oct, 2017
HI, Confusion among these two institutions is common, as both the institutes are well reputed and among the top 10 institutions for a postgraduate programme in Journalism. Comparing them on a few factors like faculty, placements, studio equipment, industrial exposures, assignments etc, both the institutes stand out. It is, in fact, a tough call for any student. You can select any from the mentioned institutions. You can finalise your decision basis other factors like fee, the programme you wish to pursue, proximity to industry and location etc. Some details of the institutes are, 1. Asian College of JOurnalism is located in Chennai. It offers Postgraduate Diploma In Journalism with specialisation in New Media, Print, Television and Radio. It has one campus only. The fee for the programme is around Rs. 350,000. 2. Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is located in Delhi, offering PG Diploma In English Journalism, Radio And TV Journalism, Advertising And PR. IIMC has around 5 campuses to select from. The fee is around Rs 72,000 and differs programme wise. Both institutes have their own entrance exam for shortlisting candidates. Good luck for your PG!
