Hello there,
It is going to be difficult for you to get a seat in political science in any good college of North and South Campus with this score. However, if you have reserved category there might a chance of you getting into a south or off campus college. The cutoff of political science will be sky-rocketed like last year.
You can make a preference list mindfully, try to look for other courses which usually have low cutoffs, and you can also go for BA Programme courses. This will increase your chances to get a seat in DU's colleges.
I hope it helps you.
Hello there,
The students appeared for Political Science exam were high and it is expected that the cutoff for Political Science will be sky-rocketed this year as well. The raw score of yours is a decent one. If you are from unreserved category, it will be difficult for you to get a good college of North and South campus. Chances are high in Off campus colleges. Last year, people with the score of 730 and above were not able to get Political Science in North campus college.
However, please be mindful while making your preference list as it is the only chance to get the course of your choice.
Good Luck.
Hello,
Filling in the wrong occupation for your mother in the DU application form may not directly affect your admission process, but it's essential to correct it to avoid any potential issues:
1. Verification process: During the verification process, discrepancies in your application form may raise concerns.
2. Document mismatch: If your mother's occupation is mentioned differently in other documents (e.g., ID proof, income certificate), it might lead to document mismatch issues.
3. Scholarship or reservation benefits: If you're eligible for scholarship or reservation benefits based on your mother's occupation, incorrect information might affect your eligibility.
To correct the mistake:
1. Contact DU helpdesk: Reach out to the DU helpdesk or admission inquiry department to report the error.
2. Submit correction request: Provide proof of your mother's correct occupation and request correction in your application form.
3. Follow instructions: Adhere to the instructions provided by the DU authorities to rectify the mistake.
Hope this helps,
Thank you
Hello aspirant,
Both CUET and DU might verify your income information during the admission process. This could involve asking for documents like income certificates. If there's a significant difference between the income figures you provide, it could raise red flags and lead to disqualification from the admission process.
These are the following things that you can do :
Double-check your income documents:
Ensure you have the correct income figures for your category (EWS, OBC etc.) Â These documents might be income certificates or tax returns.
Fill out the forms accurately: Use the same income figures from your verified documents in both the CUET and DU application forms.
Contact the admission authorities:
If there's a genuine reason for a slight discrepancy (e.g., difference in financial year considered), proactively contact the admission authorities of both CUET and DU and explain the situation.
By following these steps, you can minimize the risk of any problems arising due to discrepancies in income information.
I hope this information helps.
