FTII is a national level entrance exam that offers admission in television and film with core specialization through JET (Joint Entrance Test). Through this exam, admission is going to be offered by FTII (Film and television institute of India) and SRFTI (Satyajit Ray Film and television institutes, Kolkata). It provides admission to post-graduate diploma and post-graduate certificate programs. The admission process of FTII consists of the Joint Entrance Test (JET), and subsequent rounds of Orientation / Interview. Candidates are selected on the basis of their Joint Entrance Test (JET) scores, and performance in the orientation and interviews. The selection round will begin after the declaration of the FTII JET result. The selection process for the FTII admission for PG diploma in acting varies differently from the others.
