MIT NAT 2018

MIT NAT 2018 - The application process for MIT-ADT has started from December 1, in both online and offline modes, for all of its programmes. MIT Art, Design & Technology University (MIT-ADT) conducts MIT National Aptitude Test (NAT) for admissions to Mass Communication programmes offered at its two schools - MIT International School of Broadcasting and Journalism (MIT-ISBJ) and MIT School of Film & Television (MIT-SFT). Admissions to all the programmes will be on the basis of MIT NAT 2018. Since the eligibility of MIT NAT differs programme wise, candidates are advised to check the same before applying. The application fee can be paid either online or through demand draft. Candidates who will submit the form and fee successfully will receive the test and selection dates on their registered e-mail-ids. MIT NAT 2018 will be conducted on different dates in the months of April, May & June.  The MIT NAT admit card 2018 will be available for download ten days prior to the exam date. The MIT NAT 2018 result will be announced within 8 days of writing the test. Final selection of candidates will be on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the MIT NAT 2018 and personal interview. If selected, candidates will receive their admission letters on their registered e-mails. The officials have not yet announced any other dates. MIT NAT Important Dates 2018

 

The important Dates for MIT NAT 2018 allow candidates to know when to apply, exam schedule and in general, keep tabs on the exam related dates. MIT NAT 2018 will be conducted on multiple days in the months of April, May and June 2018. The tentative dates are provided in the table. The admission process for MIT NAT 2018 PG and UG programmes offered by the SFT School consists of,

Selection for ISBJ consists of an entrance test only. Final selection is basis merit only.

How to fill the MIT NAT 2018 application form?

Follow the given steps below

 

1. Register: This is the first step is to register on the website by creating an account. Candidates have to enter their Name, E-mail id, Contact Number, and password to create a student log-in.

 

2. MIT NAT 2018 Application form: candidates will be able to see the MIT NAT form on their screen. This application form is common for all the programmes offered by the University. The sections to be filled by the candidates in the form are,

  • Personal Details: includes Title, name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, address, pin code, and details about the domicile and category.

  • Programmes: candidates have to mention the name of the programme they have applied for in the space provided. This has to be written in capital letters in the space provided and selected from the list of the programmes mentioned in the form.

  • Parent Details: includes, Mother Name, Father Name, Address and contact details

  • Family Income: candidates have to select the total family income group

  • Local Guardian Details: includes, name, address, city, occupation, address and contact details

  • Education and Work Experience Details: includes, previous attended Institute/University, board, year of completion, marks, state, and work details (if any)

  • List of Achievements: candidates have to write their achievements, awards / honors or scholarships in sports, extra-curricular activities, and / or in community services

  • Statement of Purpose (SOP): this is an important part of the MIT NAT application form. Candidates have to submit a SOP describing why they wish to join the specific programme. The word limit is 150-300 words.

  • Documents: Candidates have to select the documents they are uploading along with the application form.

  • Annexure and Verification: this has to be filled along with the Verification and Annexure I and II, rules and regulations section. Candidates must fill in all these sections with correct details

  • Upload Documents: candidates also have to upload their recent passport size photograph as per the instructions mentioned. They also have to upload the scanned copies of their signature along with the documents.

3. Fee Payment: Candidates must pay the online application fee via any one of the given options.

 

4. Submission: Once all the details are filled and fee is paid, candidates have to submit the form. Candidates will also receive a confirmation of the form submission over their registered email-id. An Application No. will be generated after successful submission of documents and payment.

 

Those who are unable to do online payment can submit the hard copy of the Application along with Document & DD issue in favour of 'MIT Art, Design & Technology University' payable at Pune.

Candidates have to write all the details in capital letters using a ball point pen.

Candidates must enter their personal, academic and address details

 

They have to paste their passport size photograph and sign the form.

The signature of the parents is also mandatory

Fee has to be paid via a DD and the details of the same have to be mentioned on the application form itself. Once the form is filled as per the details mentioned, candidates have to attach the specified documents from the list given above and DD, compile in an envelope and send to the following address,

MIT NAT 2018 Application and Fee Instructions

  • Every detail mentioned in the application form has to be written in capital letter with a blue/black pen.

  • The envelope of the application form must have the name of the candidate and Programme written on it.

  • Application form must be sent attached with the documents specified above and DD with it. Forms without DD will be rejected by the officials.

  • In case of any changes students must inform the University at any point of time.

  • Candidates must keep a photocopy of the application form for future references.

  • Candidates cannot apply more than once for the same program in one admission year.

  • The DD must mention Applicant's Name Applicant's Signature and Programme at the back of it.

MIT NAT Centers 2018

 

The officials will conduct the MIT NAT in 39 cities. Candidates have to select any two centres, as per their preference, any one at the time of registrations. The test centers along with the center codes are in the table.

MIT NAT Admit Card 2018

 

The admit card for MIT NAT 2018 will be available only for those candidates who have registered for the test successfully. They will receive their MIT NAT e-admit card on their registered e-mail ids 10 days before the test date.

 

The MIT NAT 2018 admit card will have details about

  • Signature

  • Test center code, venue

  • Test date, time and reporting time

  • Test instructions

  • Invigilators signature space

The officials will share all the details about the test along with the e-admit card through mail only. Candidates must carry MIT NAT 2018 admit card to the exam hall failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the test. MIT NAT Sectional Instructions: The section wise instructions will support candidates regarding the test preparation. Candidates will know how to prepare for MIT NAT 2018 and the type of questions that might be asked in the test.

  • General English communication skills, comprehension, grammar- candidates must have 10+2 level English knowledge to understand reading, writing, comprehension questions, English grammar & pronunciation.

MIT NAT Result 2018

 

The result of MIT NAT 2018 will be announced within 8 days of the date of appearing in the test. The officials will declare the exam or the shortlist result on the candidate's registered e-mail id. The final MIT NAT 2018 result, after the selection process, will also be declared on the candidate’s registered mail-ids

 

MIT NAT Selection Process 2018

 

According to the selection process of MIT NAT 2018 for SFT, after appearing in the entrance test, candidates have to appear for Personal Interview. This interview will be a general discussion between the candidate and the interview panel. The schedule for the test and selection process will be shared on candidates registered e-mail id.

 

The final selection of the candidate will be basis his/her performance in the selection rounds. Candidates who will be selected will receive their admission letter over the registered id. Selected candidates have to submit the fee, as mentioned in the table below.
