As per eligibility criteria of St Xavier's BMM 2017, applicants should have passed 10+2 examination from a recognised board. Students awaited results can also apply for the test. The minimum percentage requirement for St Xavier's BMM 2017 for different category students are,
General Category must secure at least 65% marks in aggregate in their Qualifying Exams.
Applicants from Christian Minority Community must secure at least 60% in the Qualifying Exams.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST reserved category must secure at least 55% marks in their Qualifying Exams.
Candidates passed or passing Class XII Examinations from a Foreign Boards and/or from International Baccalaureate (I.B.), or from “A” levels examinations namely General Certificate of Education (GCE) / Cambridge International School Exam (CIE) of Cambridge or University of London are required to first visit the University of Mumbai, Eligibility Section, Kalina Campus, Mumbai and obtain a ‘PRIMA FACIE’ Eligibility Letter from the University of Mumbai officials.
Applicants passed or passing the Class XII from Boards / Universities other than Maharashtra State Board and seeking admissions are required to apply for a Provisional Eligibility Certificate through the College at the time of admission. The same has to be filled and submitted with an attested copy of the XII mark sheet and a passport size photograph along with the prescribed fees of Rs.320 and verification of document fees of Rs.500 to the College Office.
Only eligible candidates have to fill the St Xavier’s BMM application forms to be able to appear in St Xavier's BMM entrance exam 2017. The application form filling process is completely online for the eligible candidates to register for the exam. It is likely that the fee will be around Rs.1000, however, the same has not been mentioned by the officials.
