For instance, when Careers360 spoke to interns in advertising, most of them described it as an interesting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including creating marketing campaigns and conducting market research. They described it as a chance to attend client meetings and work with experienced professionals. This experience allowed them to gain a better understanding of the industry and develop the skills one needs to be successful in the future. Raman Arya is currently working in the advertising firm GJ Media. He completed his crash course in Bachelor in Mass Media (BMM) from a private college, in Bhubneshwar. He was a part of an advertising agency internship programme, where he worked on various projects and campaigns. Raman shared that a typical day for him involves attending meetings with his team to discuss upcoming campaigns, researching trends in the industry, and brainstorming new ideas. He also spends time creating content and building relationships with clients.

When asked about the most rewarding part of the job, he said that he loves the creative freedom he has to come up with unique ideas for campaigns. He also mentioned that he enjoys the opportunity to network with professionals in the industry and build relationships with his clients.

Raman also shared that the most challenging part of the job is staying organized and on top of deadlines. He said that he still has to learn to better manage his time in order to make sure that he is meeting all of his deadlines.

Raman’s internship period was for a period of two months with a stipend of Rs 5,000 and Rs 2,000 as a travel allowance. He had to give seven hours of work and got 90 minutes off lunch and other necessary breaks. There was no one keeping a watch but everyone was expected to manage their time wisely.

Overall, Raman said that his internship has been an incredibly rewarding experience. He has learned so much about the industry and has gained valuable skills that he will be able to use throughout his career.
